Zen and the art of snow thrower maintenance...
So my neighbor Richard bought a new snow thrower last year to replace an older one that was still in his possession. This weekend, he asked if I would like to have it, even though it didn't start. Those who know me know that a.) I love a...

Escape the Ordinary, KC style!

So, I think my wife has had enough of my whining and bellyaching about the demise of our grill. We've been without one since Spring, and I love to grill it up no matter the weather! So, she surprised me this past weekend with a new grill and I love it! We saved and spent a little extra on a quality grill with overall good reviews online (yes, I do read those!...but gotta watch out for trolls, right? LOL). Tested it out with basic burgers and brats on Sunday, excellent! Bad news, the rotisserie attachment on our last grill is missing (I think it's with the ex-grill in grill heaven). I really like to use the rotisserie, but without this missing part the current one is useless. So...it's back to the store next weekend to get a new rotisserie. If I remember correctly, I spent $30 on the last one and it never failed me, worked great, and we always had great results! This week, all eyes are on the "K" as we get into All-Star week in KC! I've never lived in a town with a major league ball team, so I think this is pretty cool. I have a lot of my out-of-town Facebook friends asking if I'm going to the game. I told them nope, take a look at how much tickets are going for! LOL Still, if you are going, it'll be a once-in-a-lifetime and I hope you have a blast! I love baseball but I'm really looking forward to football season. Cooler weather and hopefully our boys in red kicking some AFC butt! Have a great week!
